Michael joined HI, a medical communications agency, two years ago after spending much of his earlier career focused on biotechnology and drug development, which included three years working in translational medicine at Novartis Oncology in Basel.

 

After joining HI, Michael made a further leap of faith by reducing his working hours to enable him to work 20% for Zürich-based furniture and lighting designer, Beat Karrer. Michael will talk about his experiences of diversifying his career, the challenges he has faced, and the new skill set and lifestyle benefits he has acquired.
